Can anyone recommend a good cheap coffee maker?

I agree. A press is pretty much the best way to consume large amounts of coffee.

my sunbeam coffee maker as like... $18. it has a timer. so there can be coffee when you awake!

i love it. and i have a metal reuseable filter so i dont have to go out and buy filters all the time.
